drilled header bolts for safety wiring

i am having trouble with my header bolts continually loosening (383 LT1 longtube headers), and i'd like to find a set of bolts that are drilled for safety wiring. i bought a set of arp bolts on amazon, but they are about 1/4" too short. my headers have a flange that is nearly 1/4" thick, and the arp bolts only grab a few threads in the head. nowhere near enough for me to use them.

can anyone point me to where i might be able to find a set of drilled bolts that are 1" threaded length under the head? i suppose i could try drilling my bolts, but i have visions of a large pile of snapped drill bits trying to get holes drilled in 12 bolts...

ARP has bolts for safety cable/safety wire. I'd contact them to see if they have it in the length you need.

Have you considered Stage 8 locking bolts:

thanks; i'd never heard of stage 8 ... would have considered those for sure, especially for the hex bit drive because getting a socket and ratchet to some of these damn things once the engine is in place is NOT easy. i say 'would have considered' because i already contacted ARP and ordered drilled 1" bolts from them (not available in a kit, but i could order 12 of them individually at 3.75/ea), so i'll go with the ugly safety wire first.
