Difference in CATS?
So i had the unfortunate dilemma of my cat falling apart, and needing a new one, i searched the boards and found one for a 94 A4 camaro, mine is a 95 m6, will this work for me? For some reason i thought there was a difference in years and tranny.... am i wrong?
All 93-94 F-bodies have the same single cat. 95 F-bodies built for CARB states had dual cats installed, while others retained the single cat. In 96 for OBD2, the dual cats was standard on all F-bodies. So as long as you verify you are getting the correct cat setup (single or dual), you should be fine. Just make sure it's still good and not gutted

.but fyi(not trying to be a jerk) the early 95's came with single cats even in emission controlled states, considering mine is a 95 sold in california and came with a single cat.
Ok, found the clarification on that. All 95 A4 cali cars (RPO code NB6) came with 2 cats. Yours came with one because it's a 6 speed. Found on shoebox's site, that guy knows everything!
