I have LT headers going into a y-pipe to a cat back.
I want to put in 1 or 2 cut outs but i am not sure how many or the best location for performance

 

Unless you have true-dual exhaust you only need 1 cutout. put it under the bump of the rear passenger seat before the axle

my friend has his there and he almost lit his car on fire cuz the exhaust hits the floorboards and his carpet was smoldering, and he cant find a turndown short enough to fit...im gonna put mine RIGHT behind my cat so i can run some tubing out the side with a turndown
