I want an electric cut out. I already have my cat removed and i want to put the electric cut out right where the Y-pipe joins and aim the cut out to blow exhaust right out behind the front wheel.

anyone ever done this? Is it even possiable with clearance, and if anyone has a route like this do you have any pictures?

 

its going to be stupid loud. there isn't a right and wrong way to mount the cutout. put it wherever it fits or wherever you want it

 

im only going to open it under race conditons, that is why im going electric.

 

How close will that be to your O2 sensor? Possible to screw up O2 sensor values if outside air can get mixed in with the exhaust flow.

 

As far as I know, you don't have enough clearance anywhere except right under passenger rear seat for the cutout to be mounted (without decreasing ground clearance substantially).

Well you have a DMH cutout, quite a different design than my QTP. I suppose if he goes with DMH (though aren't they more expensive?) then mounting other places would be plausible.

 

I believe that they are more expensive yea...but worth it
