cooked wires

does anyone have pics. or good info on running wires? Im tired of replacing the MSDs and Earls flame gaurd $$$$$

If you haven't done it yet, OTVC wires are the way to go. I charred my #5 wire after I installed my longtubes. I bought the OTVC kit and haven't had a problem since. I made a nearly 2000 mile round trip a few weeks ago and it performed flawlessly. Do the OTVC wires and you won't have to worry about them again.

+1 i love the way they route around the headers, almost no chance of burning the wires

I burnt the second from the rear on the drivers side. I then got a new wire that was extra long and ran it over the top. So far all is well. None of the rest are even close but this one was almost touching the headers and it burnt the heat shield right thru to the wire.
