If anyone knows how to make the check engine light turn off i have my cats gutted and it wont come off so im wondering if theres a way to remove the censor and if so how much does it cost? thanks

 

Buy some 02 simulators, have your computer tuned, or put your cats back on are the only way to get it to turn off.

 

You should add some basic info about your car in a signature. But as mentioned above, if you gutted the cats, you have two options, either plug 02 simulators into the rear 02 sensor connectors or have the PCM tuned. Either way, you will not have to remove the sensors themselves. The 02 simulators will run you around 90 bucks for the pair. Tuning can range anywhere from 30-150 bucks depending on where you go.

 

where do you buy the 02 simulaters and do you have a prt number for them becouse i have the same problem as this guy. sorry for jumping in on your thread.

 

There are several places you can buy them, off the top of my head, www.ls1speed.com has them under the part number IZM993-2 Jegs and Thunder Racing are a couple other vendors that carry them and they will run around 90 bucks where ever you go.
