Catalytic Converter ?s.......

I have a 96 Z with the dual cat (I hate that cat on the drivers side. Well at one point I accidently dropped that cat and everything came out , but I have left the other alone. The car has 1.6 rollers, headers, air foil, air intake, bored .30 over ect... It does have the old stock exhaust on it, however. It pretty relegiously runs 13.6's at right at 100, my question is could that other cat be part of why it isn't trapping higher, cause I think it should. I realize the old exhaust doesn't help either.....

You're right about where you should be. Exhaust might help.

either replace the whole exhaust, run cut outs, or put a test pipe in place of the cat.

If the other cat is functioning properly, it shouldn't be hurting your trap speeds.
