pacesetter long tubes and stock y-pipe
pacesetter long tubes and stock y-pipe
Im supposed to recieve my pacesetter lt tommorrow and im wondering if its possible to bolt them up to the stock y pipe if i cut the y pipe back a little. Thanks!
well technically you can make anything work
but in this case you would have to fabricate your own y pipe
if you have the tools and the skillz to do that by all means do
but if you dont you would be paying an exhaust shop well over the 130 it costs for the pacesetter piece

Considering how close the 02 sensors are towards the ends of the headers, the incoming rushes of air could give wacky readings to the 02 sensors. I would either put on the correct y-pipe or do a true dual setup.
yes, that thought was in the back of my mind, i want true duals but they are difficult to fabricate so ill probably end up going with a massive single exhaust since the flow numbers are the same and i am considering an sts turbo. Another question i have is will the knock sensor go off becuase of the long tubes?
