would help to know what type you wree talking about.

i'll assume you mean the borla adjustable catback for 3rd and 4th gens.

basically it's an over priced cutout...

but it is stainless steel and has nice tips.

save $300 and get a magnaflow

I've got one and it's a good quality catback. The adjustability is nice, but I wouldnt pay the $700 or whatever it costs new. Opened up it sounds like a raspy cut out, closed it sounds a lot deeper and more mellow... yet still louder than a magnaflow or hooker system.

Look around in the classifieds, one pops up from time to time.

Depends what Borla parts you are talking about, and what car you are putting them on. The XR-1 racing mufflers are excellent. The adjustable cat-back is very good. The "rear section" non-adjustable cat-back is terrible. Build quality is generally excellent. They often forget to put all the pieces in the shipping package.

What car and what specific part?

I've got the adjustable one from a 4th gen with the intercooled tips.
It sounds very mean on my little 305 HSR motor.
I got the setup for a steal, $100 installed.
short clip of it,

Its a good catback no doubt, but very expensive. I went with a Magnaflow catback and a cutout tallying up to about half the cost.

dude if your going to expect us to help you then you could at least be nice about it and show some respect. the fact that you asked a very general question, and we wanted to help you out so we asked what you were putting it on. so next time try including more info about your car, and don't be an *** about it if people want to help you out.

on my 95 it sounds freakin' awesome but idk what plate is in it cuz i got it w/ the car and none of the other plates.

i used to have one when i had stock heads and a hotcam. i ran it through a random tech cat and with the open plate pretty often. it sounded raspy through it, the middle plate sounded alright. it was on the car when i bought it, but i don't think i would have bought it myself. i probably would have just had some mufflers welded in

I am sorry, I mis-interpreted what he meant. thought he was saying sorry since he had a 3rd gen and that it wouldn't work, and I posted my reply reminding him that I too have a 3rd gen with the Borla.
I didn't even realize that he didn't have his car listed,
