Big Problem!!!
ok i have a 96 trans am lt1, and i am installing some headers, and i was taking off the exhaust manifolds and the bolt that is against the firewall is broken, i didnt even turn it with a wrench and it practically fell off. so its in the head and i was feeling for the bolt on the passenger side firewall , and its ****n broke as well...WHAT THE HELL!!! so now i have broken bolts off in each of my heads!! How do i get them out, never done this before?
Join the "header bolt broken" club.
You gotta pull the heads.
Unless you can get that bolt out.....theres like 5 inches of room in there, no angle drill will fit.
You, my friend are screwed, like 50% of the people who tried to install headers. Including me.

Injuneer ur right I just went home to check and was about to post this and u already beat me to the punch!!
Well yall aren't gonna believe this ****, but on the back and front of the heads this one extra bolt hole on the heads , why I don't know, but I went home and looked and the bolt I broke is the farthest back well there is an extra bolt hole right in front of it and that's the one I gotta use to mount my headers and not the broken one!!!! WWWOOO. HHHOOO what a relief!!! So headers install continued!!!

broken header bolts trick #1
first you need a welder
2nd you hold a nut in the center of the hole, take your welder wond (lead what ever)and weld up the hole and the nut.you'll have to hold the nut with a wrench.after it cools for minute.just turn the bolt out....try not the weld more then you have too. I removed one that was agianst the firewell of my suburban using a 90 degree drill and about 20 1/8 drill bits.I had to cut them real short then the next one alittle longer and so on.. then use the ole easy out.
