Exhaust System From headers to exhaust tips

best muffler?

best muffler?

I have an aftermarket off brand exhuast that the owner before me put on my 1991 z28 5.7. i just want to change the muffler.
(just muffler)
Im looking for the LOUDEST and the least restrictive muffler i can get!

Anyone have any sugestions

magnaflow 4x9 and a single tip...or any bullet.

but for dual out...i'd go for the magnaflow, the one that came on my catback had a baffle to force 1/2 the exhaust out the passenger side pipe BEFORE going into the actual muffler.

The only thing that will give you both maximum volume and minimum restriction is straight pipes.

Most of the best-flowing mufflers are relatively quiet. Corsa, Borla, Dynomax... these all offer ideal straight-through airflow paths for the best flow, but they're quiet compared to Magnaflow, SLP Loudmouth, and Flowmaster.

im going with the flowmaster super 44, with an exhaust cutout between the cats and muffler.
