Beat Placement For Wideband O2?

EDIT - I meant to say BEST not BEAT.. Arg, cant edit it anyway

I just picked up a wideband for my Z28. Where is a good place to put it?. I would asume after the collector so I get a sample of all exhaust gases. I will be gutting the cat so I dont have to worry about it messing with my readings. So can I put it just about anywhere in the exhaust?..

Thanks

Why not put a bung on each collector, so you can switch the sensor from side-to-side to check both banks of the engine. The PCM controls each bank independantly.

So, you mean bung on each collector for tuning each bank. then maybe a bung further back for monitoring when im done tuning (plug the other bungs)

that sounds like a good idea!.

I have decided agains 2 bungs. I will not let the car in on my sexy wideband reading, its just for me to fell safe when I got my foot threw the floorboard.

From the installation notes in my Innovate manual, it looks like close to the header collector and between 12 and 2 o'clock.

my manual just said it need to be ATLEAST 10 degrees off horizontal leaning up so it does not collect moisture,

I found a great place, lots of room under the car, and about a 30 degree angle or more
