Baffled or perf?

I ordered a new Magnaflow muffler the other day and just got it in. I see that it is not baffled like I thought it would but it's straight through, perforated inside. It's 3 in/out. The inside area seems to be a bit larger than 3" though which I think is good. Any ideas/opinions between the two?

I have Magnaflow on my car and love it. Way better sound than Flowmaster and proven to give more horsepower.

Is your baffled or the "straight through" style? I am welding this one in place of the cat.

A muffler you can see through will flow better than a baffled muffler that you can't. I ran the Dynomax equivalent on my 70 SS. They're good mufflers.
