Back to thinking about mufflers.

Looking for cheap and good sound, without having to hackup what I have. Looking for just a muffler really.

2001 Camaro SS / slp dual/dual / CME.
I don't know any specifics of size or inlet/outlet sizes.. Looking at Magnaflow's site.. would this bolt right up?

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=479
And what is the dB of my stock exhaust? Ls1sounds doesn't seem to list the stock specs, i don't believe.

so you have the duel duel now?

how come your changing the mufflers? are you looking for it to be louder, or get more power?

a bit louder.. more aggressive.. if a little more power comes out of it, that's fine

Magnaflow has the same basic intrnal design as the SLP d/d muffler so I doubt that'll do much for you.

Ever think of putting a cut out on it? Could also intall headers. This way you'll get power and sound.

I agree with the cutout idea, it'll add a decent power increase and sounds awesome with stock manifolds and y-pipe IMO.
