Anyone used the Flowmaster scavenger X pipe kit?

Just kind of curious, here's a link to what I'm talking about:

http://www.flowmastermufflers.com/pr...oducts_id=2323

I'm just exploring my options on true duals before I make any purchases

But it looks like it could work quite well on a true dual setup...maybe better than the summit and Jegs X pipe kits

I know it's quite a bit more money (I found it as cheap as $185 from carparts.com) I don't know if it's worth it in terms of power production or not over the summit and jegs kits. Thats not really my concern though, I'm just thinking that it might fit better...

So does anyone have any experience with this part to share?

And just to clarify, I'm looking to run duals similar to the way they are ran in this picture:

Cool, thanks

Do you have any pics of it on your friends car by chance?

i dont know for sure, but why do you think its worth 200? It might be a good piece but keep in mind your not going to gain anything more than a summit-x or hedmans. also no one looks underneath your car to see oh niceee you spent 200 on a flowmaster xjunction alone. not being an *** i just dont know if it warrents the high price tag? like anything else your paying a premium for the name i think, thats just my opinion.

Ok thats fine, but if you'll re-read my first post you'll see that I'm exploring my options...I also said that I don't think it'll make much more power and that it looked to me like it might fit better than the summit or jegs parts, which is my main concern. Honestly, the Flowmaster part is ~$75 more than the summit/jegs parts which is chump change compared to what I've spent in other areas of the car, so if it was to fit better so I could tuck it up higher, but then doesn't make a single horsepower more than the summit/jegs, then it was still worth every penny to me.

Understand, I'm not tryin to be an a$$ to you, I just want you to understand why I'm looking into this part in particular.

So to summarize, I was looking for feedback from people that have actually used this part on an f-body, not people who thought that I was a "name brand nutt-swinger" just because it's made by flowmaster. I really don't car who's name is on the box of whatever x-pipe I use, I'm just looking for the best fit. That's more important to me than price is, because my car is lowered.

Yes sir I've seen that before, it's a real nice set-up. However, if I put that exact set-up on my car I'd probably wouldn't be able to drive over pennies without dragging them.

I'm not using Flowmaster one-chambers for that reason. I'm gonna use Flo-pro twisters. I'm trying to keep everything tucked up in the trans tunnel as much as possible because of how low my car is. Like in this pic from my first post:

http://www.geocities.com/kmook123/exhaust2

It might require a little banging with a BFH to accomplish this even with the Flo-pros, and the set-up you're talking about simply won't do that. It would require a lot more "clearancing" than I'm willing to do. But it is a very nice set-up for a car at stock ride height.

okay, sorry, forgot about this post
the flowmaster kit fits pretty much perfectly w/o any extra fabrication, plus has a deeper tone than the x-pipe kits.
The flowmaster is an "h-pipe", but still has good scavenging such as x-pipes

this gives it a deeper tone, plus the benefits of an x-pipe, plus the welds are nice, and theres probably more r&d into this than the summit x-pipe kit.
I believe it is well worth the money
