Raspy exhaust question

I recently installed 2.5 inch true duals on my car with a flowmaster super 40 series 2 in 2 out and it sounds very raspy. Would replacing the flowmaster with 2 bullets cure the problem?

bullets will probably be just as bad...

try the magnaflow 4x9s...they sound great on my cammed ls1 with 3" duals
