93 Edelbrock headers on 96?

Will these work? Emissions doesnt matter, but I am wondering if the y pipe will line up where the 96 dual cat hooks up to the catback.

I have a set of edelbrock headers off an older camaro on my 96Z. They worked for me but the exhast shop put them on. I also am running duals so i dont know about the Y pipe. They did cut the end off one of the passenger sid eheader to change the flange type but i dont know why. Hell i didnt car i was just happy to get headers.

The y-pipes were different between the single and dual cat styles in how they connect to the catback. If you get those style headers they will work, you'll just need an exhaust shop do a little fabbing to get the catback attached to the y-pipe.

Is it just the flang which is different or the position where they mate? I just bought some so I guess I'll see once they come.

Its how they mate, you'll need some additional piping in the shape of an "s" I believe to mate the y-pipe and catback together.

I'm looking for one myself, and they aint cheap. I may buy a u-bend from summit, cut it in two and have it welded in an s shape. I also believe you'll need a length of 3 inch pipe...(not 100% sure on that though)

I kicking myself for throwing away the S-pipe that came with my Maganflow catback, it may have been worth a few bucks.
