i was wanting to get a good, decently loud, muffler for new set up and i was wondering if anyone knew what the inside of this muffler looks like, is it almost straight through or what? it is a "RACE" muffler so i figured it cant be that resrictive at all...

im not sure, for the price u could get dynomax bullets tho which are a straight through design, are loud, and flow good

thought about it but im kinda worried about backpressure with those on my little 3.8 i dont want it to sound like crap when berily pressing the gas like when i have my cut out half open and i still want my low end

 

they are chambered and are definately not straight through. Look like summit branded flowmasters. Do a search on that and see what people say.
Bullets would flow a lot better but the sound on a v6 might be very undesireable coupled with the fact that you don't need that much flow. I'd get a muffler that most can agree sounds good on a v6 and be done with it.
