I'll definately be there even though I'm from way up here! Gotta hit up that car wash first though lol. Anyone from ND and MN PM me, maybe we can meet up and follow each other down. Right now, its me and my buddy with his 2000 Z from Bismarck.

Well, I still need another 12 to sign up for the dyno BY June 1st. If I don't have the full 30 slots filled by June 1st I will be forced to cancel the dyno. I really dont want to do that...as its one of the main events of the meet. So, knowing that, if anyone knows anyone thats coming, and wants to dyno for a fair price, please tell them to sign up at the site!!!

As far as lodging goes, I won't be able to get any discount rates unless a slew of people are staying at one particular hotel. I didnt get a hotel picked out in time to get everything set up as I had school to deal with and also work. Now I'm out of school I can get stuff ordered.

What kind of lodging were you looking at?

Josh

just a room w/ 2 doubles... nothing fancy. It would be cool to be around the other participants, though. Have you heard if people are already migrating towards a specific hotel?

I'm not sure of one specific hotel, but I am pretty sure that some of them will be staying in hotels in the vicinity of I-35/University Ave. area in West Des Moines.

Next year I am going to go with one hotel in that area and tell everyone to go there for lodging. I know that doesnt help people for this year, but it will be that much better for next.

I just called the Holiday to get reservations. They're down to Smoking rooms w/ King beds and Queen rooms w/ handicapped accessibility. (for the 11th and 12th) They cost $89 a night. They've got suites w/ Kings for $125 a night.

Oh, and you've got 8 spots left on the dyno.

I honestly have no idea how many cars to expect. I have been passing out flyers like no other and also word of mouth. Let's just say between 50 and 200 cars. It will be sumthing you wont want to miss, I'll put it that way!
