Josh

If you remember me I'm the other Josh from Iowa with the White WS6. I'd be more than glad to come to this event.
I'm curious on the dynos, who have you contacted about setting up a dyno day?

Thanks

I'll be there, 2 hrs from Omaha, 3 1/2 hrs from the Twin Cities for the guys from the north.

As the meet comes closer we could do a "items for sale" that can be bought and delivered at the meet saving those nasty shipping fees and no worries for the buyer/seller.

Lets here some ideas from around the country to make this event fun for all.

Also I can spread the word about this on other forums as well.

I will try to keep everyone updated. I hope that this can stay as a sticky to attract more attention, but that means it will have to sit up here on the top for 6 months, fine by me.

I would like it to be f-bodies only, but if a vette or 2 shows up I wont send em packin, but like I said, try to stay f-bodies only.

Josh (DarkHalf) - I have talked to Brad Noon over from TGO who called Midstates Machines to get prices for the dyno. They said $250ish for 2-3 hours of runs.

Also, not to discourage the party, but no alcohol will be present at the BBQ The last thing we need is somene getting hammered and totalling their f-body. Plus we will all be going to the dyno too.

I have worked out a deal with an awesome graphic designer over at tgo to design a logo for this event. It will go on the flyers that will be put together, and I am also thinking about having t-shirts made. I will try to get a site together for this too, but I don't know if it will happen.

Parts/items for sale will be fine. Although I dunno if I'll be able to buy anything.

-Josh

You can come...

....but you have to park across the highway and then pay each and every one of us for having to see a stang on a day for f-bodies.

I don't mind if people come to see the 'show', but I would rather not have them park with the f-bodies. This is a f-body only show.

okay on everything except parking across the highway and paying everyone. I'm sure i can park somewhere and make my stang noticeable. :P

I have the directions up. Click here to see them...they are in PDF so make sure you have AAR.

I'm trying to get a site up with all the info to make it a little easier than reading through a thread.

Yahoo calls it a 6 hour and 37 minute drive. Between speeding and a shorter route, I'm sure I could cut it to under 6 hours.

Ugh... 6 hours of driving? My car would NOT be in shape for a show after that

I'd go-but June? Ummm.....You do know that the Hot Rod Power Tour will be coming through our neck of the woods the first part of June, right? Depending on which weekend you pick, you may have many more than 400 cars!

Count me in. I've seen several posts from the IFBA on here so we'll talk it up on the IFBA list. Remind us again when it gets a little closer.
