SO, I'll have to send you an email/PM... sooooo, what does it take for a podcast LIVE from an event like CSF? There is free internet access in the park! Another great place for one would be at the Poker Run, ending at Lingenfelter! Don't know if they have wifi in the office/building, but I'm sure they have internet! That could/would be exciting!!

HELLO again! Nice steady progress is happening on our event and your registrations are helping that progress! Check out the totals - 47 from 5 states and Canada! That averages just a tad over one per day since registration opened. GREAT - Thanks!! If we keep up that pace, we'll have a near record pre-registration!
Time to welcome back another great sponsor - LIVERNOIS MOTORSPORTS has joined us again this year as a SILVER sponsor! Glad to have you onboard again for 2012! They have also hinted at bringing down several cars for display, as they do great Camaro modifications!
We'll also be welcoming back METRO BEVERAGE as our official food vendor. They did a great job last year, had great food and at reasonable prices!
We're looking for some game ideas for the Friday night Parking Lot Meet/Greet. We can remember some good old-time car games, one we may have room for is the "PANTY DASH"! Or how about a "Creeper Race"? Give us a shout (email actually...) if you have some ideas to share!

Here's an update for everyone here on CAMARO Z28.com .....

Ladies and Gents - HELLO again!!
We've posted another registration update - WOW, we are well over 100 registrations (118 total - so far) and we keep getting 1-2 per day. Thanks and keep'em coming! Remember, CSF is FREE for Drivers Class (display only) and only $10 to have your Camaro judged to try to win one of our great award plaques.
Speaking of our awards, the artwork always matches our event t-shirts and here's your first look at what these should look like-



This is not quite the final version, we're playing with a few color options and the cars have to be drawn (will not be photo copies!), but we can tell you that the shirt color will be ash (light gray). We hope you like these and buy LOTS! Remember, you get a price break if you order t-shirts when you pre-register! The shirt prices AT the event will be slightly higher.
OTHER EVENT UPDATES-
The Poker Run Planning Team has met and has started planning the route of the Run. We can tell you that the start point will be our sponsor - Bill Crispin Chevrolet and the end point is the Lingenfelter Motorsports Collection! We've changed to a burger and dogs with LOTS of fixings (baked beans and 3 different salads!) BBQ dinner at Lingenfelter. We'll have enough table space, but please can you bring your chairs from the show! PLEASE NOTE!!- we do have a limit for this activity of 150 people and/or 75 Camaros, which-ever we hit first. Presently we have 63 people and approx. 43 Camaros attending, so we have a ways to go before we reach our limits. Register NOW!!
My garage is starting to fill-up as letters for donations for goodie bag items and door prizes have gone out, plus another email blast, so we've contacted over 200 companies! We hope they can be generous and that way, you'll get a lot of stuff!
We're still working on those plans for Friday night at the HQ Hotel! We're looking at something low-key, fun and enjoyable!
Lastly - please remember that we do not normally send out a note when we receive your registration. You WILL get our 6+ page ACCEPTANCE LETTER that will have ALL event updates, MIS instructions and any other information we know you will want or need! These will start to be emailed and regular mail for those not giving us email addresses, starting the first of June! (yikes - guess I better get started on writing that...)

WOW what a great two weeks for registrations 30 more and 3 new states! Check out that total on the Registration History page - 150, 12 states plus Canada! THANKS!! Looking forward to hosting all of you and your families and your Camaros!
Also looking at the registration page, we're short several of the 2nd gen Camaro years. If you know Camaros owners with 1970-79 Camaros, we could use a few at our event. We like to have at least one of every year Camaro attending each year.
We're just over ONE MONTH away! Just about everything is sent here, waiting for you to arrive.
As mentioned before, your acceptance letter with ALL of the latest event information will be sent to you starting by the end of this week. You will receive it via email if you gave us that information. Others will get one in the mail! PLEASE READ this letter as it has very important information!
Please keep telling other Camaro owners about our event! We'd really like to have a huge increase this year and hit the 400 Camaro mark!
Lastly, if you are planning on attending the MIS activity on Friday, you can meet us at the track, if that is convenient for you. We will also accept new registrations at MIS, but we will not have all registration supplies - no t-shirts, dash plaques, etc. just the basics. We cannot transport most of those supplies to MIS. Please email us if you think you will take advantage of this opportunity.

Please go to our website - Camaro Superfest 2012 | Ypsilanti, MI and all of the HQ hotel info is there. We use the Marriott at Eagle Crest in Ypsilanti as our HQ hotel. Super nice hotel and reasonablely priced for our event!!
Virginia?? Get that registration in... you will be first in your state to register and get a Certificate!!

HEY... here's another UPDATE on CAMARO SUPERFEST 2012 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Registrations are STILL arriving - VERY COOL - we're up to 175 !! Keep 'em coming!! For those that have pre-registered, your acceptance letetrs have all been sent, either by email or postage. We are 100% up-to-date on sending out that important information!! As registrations come in - letters go out same/next day!! Was very (happily) surprised that out of 165 registrations, just under 10% did not have email addresses on their forms. THANKS!!! Sending out via email saved us some good money!

HELLO!!! Well, we did it again! Actually YOU did it... over 200 pre-registrations for the 3rd year in a row! AND we still have time for more - SO KEEP'EM COMING!! Online registration will end in just under two weeks - Friday, June 29th. Mail-in registrations, as mentioned on the registration form, MUST be postmarked by THIS Wednesday, June 20th. This allows us time to recieve your registration and mail back your event info.
We are sorry to report that the Poker Run is all FULL! We will start a waiting list in case we get a few openings. Please email me if you want on that list.
Did you notice the registration history page updates? We have a record 14 states and Canada being represented this year - SUPER!!
And we still need those few 2nd gen cars to have at least one of every year of Camaro production - looking for 1970, 1972, 1973 and 1975. If you know someone with a Camaro of those years, please encourage them to attend Camaro Superfest!
With only THREE weeks to go, our event plans are in their very final stages. Everything is wrapping up nicely and we promise a great event for 2012!! Of course, it is YOU attending that will make it even better!! Don't know if I'll have another news update for you before the event, so in case I don't, please have a safe trip to Michigan!! HELLO to your last LATEST NEWS update before our event - CAMARO SUPERFEST 2012! YES, we are just around the corner - 4 days and counting!! I hope you and your Camaro are ready for a great weekend of fun and commradere!
WOW - did you see that final pre-registration total - 266!! That number was our entire show entries just 2 years ago!! Please keep spreading the word about our great event to all Camaro owners you know or meet. If all goes as it has before, we will get VERY close to the 400 Camaro mark this year. THANKS for keeping us the Largest ALL Camaro event in the USA!
As you have read on the home page, pre-registration is closed. BUT you CAN still attend simply by showing up and registering at the door/gate! As they say... "Come on down!!"
Another success appears to be looming, concerning our event t-shirts! We take our best guess on ordering what we believe we will sell, including the many pre-sold through registrations. Those pre-sold went very well and it appears we may SELL OUT at the event. Please get your shirt early, as we may run out and doubt we will print more. IF (and that is a BIG IF...!) we take orders because we sell out, they will have to pre-paid and include $5 shipping costs. AND we will have to have a minimum order of near 36 to even place the order. So buy early!!
I believe we have covered everything we can, but if you still have a question, please email me ASAP. Starting Thursday afternoon, I'll be "off the grid" because I/we will all be busy AT The event!!
Please BE SAFE in your travels to our event! EVERYONE wears seat belts ALL the time!! Michigan is again filled with road construction, take it slow and you'll get here! HELLO!! Our event is now in the history books and we THANK-YOU for attending!! We had near record attendance for 2012 - 426+ registered and 381 Camaros on-site!! THANKS!! WHile we didn't break 400 actual Camaros on-site, this was an increase of over 100 registrations and 72 actual Camaros from 2011. Sweet!!! We're already working on plans for 2013, so stay tuned!

As usual, with an event of our size, there are some "house-keeping" issues to complete.

JUDGING SHEETS - if you had your Camaro Judged and want your Judging Sheets, no problem - please send us a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) with a note of your car number and class you were in and we'll get those back to you very soon. On Thursday night, August 23, 2012, the members of the Eastern Michigan Camaro Club along with their sponsor, Bill Crispin and Bill Crispin Chevrolet, hosted the charity check presentation from this years 21st annual CAMARO SUPERFEST event.
Bill called up many of his "friends" and look who came- Milan Police, Ann Arbor Police, Michigan State Police, Washtenaw County Sheriff, Ypsilanti Police, Saline Police and Pittsfield Township Police! Our charity for the 2012 event was chosen by Bill Crispin, MiCOPS, Michigan Concerns Of Police Survivors. This organization assists the families of fallen police officers! MI-C.O.P.S. | Michigan Concerns of Police Survivors Bill is a former law officer, so this charity is near and dear to his heart, as it should be for all of us! Accepting the check for MiCOPS was Karen Black, President and a 2000 survivor.

The amount given to MiCOPS? $4000 !!

All of this was raised by the participants and spectators of CAMARO SUPERFEST, the longest running ALL Camaro event in the USA. The event is held yearly at Riverside Park in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Attendance for 2012 was 382 Camaros from 14 states and Canada. The event attendance and charity donation were all increases from last years event! EMCC and its members wish to THANK all of our participants, supports, sponsors and spectators that helped in any way, in making 2012 another great year in Camaro Superfest history! We look forward to doing this all again and more, in 2013 22nd annual CAMARO SUPERFEST 2013 will be on July 5-6-7, 2013!
