rockingham is my favorite, but they probably wont run as many races next year, so i'll probably wind up switching to piedmont or brewers

rockingham is a real good track, though its usually slick on test and tune nights, but if you go to a real race down there, the track is usually 200% better

I'll probably be going thorough washington around 4 pm or so. The gates open sat at 10:00 am. As for the engine work, no I don't do my own I have Bob dalton of Fayetteville build mine. He is a great guy and does excellent work.

I've never heard many folks complaining about how the Fayetteville track hooks on any occasion...

hey drake, how many imports show up at fayetteville? when i go theres only 2 or 3, where rockingham usually has a ****load

plus it seems to me most of the street cars at rockingham are driven by idiots that do burnouts IN the water the ppl that run at fayetteville, from what i remember, dont do the stupid crap the street cars at rockingham do

go to rockingham during a race and you wont complain

I agree that fayetteville is a good hooking track, but you also have to remember that steve earwood is all about the money and he's not going to spend anymore than he has to on the track unless some big boys are there. Just for the record, I was at the holcomb race a couple of weeks ago and was pulling both front tires about 8-10 inches on most every launch, so even though it's slick sometimes when steves spends the time and money on it it hooks like mad.

I hate to use last names, but there first names are Chris and Billy. Chris has a blower on his black mustang, and Billy has a built 306 with a 175 shot on it. Wish me luck with Billy. I'm not to worryed about Chris.

the Rock....

Randy, I will be coming thru a little late to possibly catch a glimpse of that beast of yours. Good luck at the Rock, I probably won't be able to make it and I'm not that motivated since my car still has a few small issues that need to be worked out before I can run. I think a PCM tuning will fix my problems. Let me know the next time you are going to one of the local tracks to run.

*****, I was thinking about another guy with a black mustang. Word is he has a blower which I have not seen. Maybe I will see you around town sometime this weekend.

Yea Chris, Fayetteville usually has a lot less imports than the Rock. I moved to Raleigh (NC State area) a few months ago, so I have all but stopped going to the Rock. F'ville is much closer to me now.

LMAO @ Slickingham Isn't that the truth? I can't launch worth a damn there! The only other track I've been to is Moorseville... launched great with my new Nittos! Went back to the Rock this past Friday night and the Nittos felt like my street tires!
Anyone been to Pageland? We're thinking about trying that one out before the season is over.

I like the rock, but Fayetteville is closer, so I go there more often.
