I know that a few of yall have sold yalls rides, and even more are spending a lot of time on the local boards now, just wanted to see who in Raleigh still posts/lurks in here regularly...

So anyways, where yall at, and whats been up???

 

Lurking Basically chillin and waiting for my engine to be rebuilt (for a 1990 gsx). We should get some people together one weekend and do lunch or something.

How do you like the 224/236 cam? You wouldn't be Joe Dirt off Hp Junkies, would you? I was told you had that cam and I have one sitting in my spare bedroom waiting to be installed.

Yep like drake said thats me. I love the cam. Mines on a 114lsa. Made the power in the sig through stock heads with just roller rockers and the stock stall. I've run the times in the sig also stock heads and stall this summer. Haven't been able to take advantage of the cooler air yet. So I'd expect the times to be a lil better. All in all I'm very happy with how the cam has preformed. I think it hits pretty hard for something on a 114. There are a couple others also with variations or this cam running around these parts. Bj deans has something "similar" I use that word very loosely with his car. Jk has this cam. And so does jeff creech. And I do beleive drake has it sitting somewhere close to him also. It made power the whole way up to 6300 rpms which I was stunned cuz from what I'm told xe grinds don't like to be reved out like that. If ya got anymore questions man don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks for the congrats on the times. I hope for them to get A LOT faster here in the near future. Its a far cry from a 13.7 second car like it was last time you saw it, many mods have been done to the ride since the last time you saw it.

Thats cool rich we hang out with a lot of slow people. We only make fun of ya for a lil bit. I've been wanting to beat up on an m3 for a while now. If you've ever been to horsepowerjunkies.com a lot of raleigh peoples are on there. Many with cars much much much slower then yours. You'll see we hang out quite often. Come on out sometime
