Talking Are there any F-Body clubs or street action in Little Rock, AR?

My bro-in-law just moved there this past weekend, and so far, we haven't seen anything except about a million C5's! lol Anyways, he has a 91'Z w/bolt-on's, runs high 12's, and he was just looking to meet a few car guys. He just accepted a manager's position at the Circuit City Roadshop over off of Markham, and that's why he had to move down there. He lives in the Calais Apts. on Napa Valley Rd., which is very close to Markham, Shackleford, and Chanel streets. I helped him move down there this weekend, and we went out each night but found nothing. Could someone here please point me to some hangouts, or the local tracks. Thanks in advance.

He absolutley loves it Chris! Next on the list, we're rebuilding the rear end, and installing the 3.73's, along with some suspension work. It should be fun to watch at the Bash this year!

LOL, and now that he's out of state I can save him the sales tax by shipping to Little Rock

Gotta get me an ST2800 then, too. That's the one I've been leaning toward..not too much stall. I'm guessing its VERY streetable?

Yep, it's definitely very streetable. RPM's around town never fall below 23-2500 on upshifts, but on WOT runs, they never fall below 42-4300 rpm's. I think when he installs the gears and the shift kit, which he really needs by the way with the converter, he'll drop another solid 2 tenths in the 1/4, and that should have him all over the 12's in good weather.

Brian,

Good to hear from another Little Rock person. You might want to check out www.littlerockracingscene.com. The board is active. Sign up and introduce yourself. Most of the more known members meet at Grumpy's on Green Mountain Dr. Monday nights, I believe. They go to Centerville drag strip most Saturday nights to race. There is a small 1/8th mile track in town at Barton Coliseum. Not the best in the world, but it seems to have a following. The track is open on Sundays I believe. I live at the Waterford Apartments on Green Mountain Dr. See you and/or your brother-in-law around.

Michael

Yes I would love to gain as much F-Body support in LRRS as possible!
