My ws6 was driver handicaped. hehe. ran 2.3x, 77mph/9.5 and 101.5 at 14.5.. I need practice, been over a year since I raced and I'm not used to the new car. Nam was hooking like crazy, I was doing rockingham launches and bogging...

A red ls1 z28 also got totalled at the track about took out my friend jon smith. A very interesting evening

Damn, never seen anyone seriously wreck a 13 second street car on the track.
I wouldn't worry too much about your times, most of us have been a tenth or two off recently due to the heat and humidity.
I'll be heading down to the Rock with a few people on Saturday night.

There was a very light rain when my buddy and the z ran. The z was also running n2o, his previsouse run was 12.9or8 at 112.x mph, almost 113.

I don't know if i'm going to GnC. I didn't sign up so the only thing i would be doing is checking out the cars. Think anybody would care?

Jon still has the dakota, but he doesn't race it any more. His new vehicle of choice is the "dirty rice."

He was my first DSM convert and picked up a 1990 Laser for cheap. A lot of work later it's running 14.2 @ 104ish. Too bad it's fwd.

Yup, still got it... sits most of the time b/c the Laser gets twice the mileage and 10x's more smiles per gallon

The Dakota ran it's peak of 14.4@99mph at VMP 2 years ago, suffered a broken band in the tranny but still runs strong.

The Laser still sports bolt ons, a fuel pump upgrade and a sidemount intercooler from a Supra. Ran a best of 13.8@106.47 two weeks ago @ the Rock and edged out Chuck's new WS6 last thursday (whoops, sorry Chuck)
