Just curious if anyone from this board ever attends the yearly Super Chevy Show at Bristol, TN??? Mabye we could meet up and get chat?

I should be able to make it down there a day or two... trying to talk a guy I work with in to bring his newly restored '73 Z28 down there.

I marked it on my calendar at work so I won't forget.. they have a big swap meet there also don't they? Wonder if I'd be able to pick up a set of new Hooker LTs w/ the Jet Hot coating? hrmmmm

 

excellent...hope the weather and everything is all permittable! i'm looking forward to seeing everyone. i have a friend who takes his 99 Hugger Oranger SS every year. Last year he ran a 12.3...since then he's done cam, heads...basically a rebuild...he should hit low 11's!

 

How long of a drive is it from Mooresville NC? im gonna try to make it if i can. and do they have a swap meet? im stoked about it man

 

I have never been to bristol. I will be at the April 11-13 super chevy show in Memphis motorsports park. I try to go to it every year. Lot of f bodies usually .

Hey everybody,

It is tuesday, I went to super chevy on sunday and had a great time. Not too many lt1 cars in the show, however. Found some good deals on parts for my corvette, but i did not purchase anything, due to the fact that i plan on starting a serious restoration on it later. Overall a good show.

Big daddy Don Garlits made a pass in Swamp Rat II the only chevy powered garlits dragster was the highpoint of the event.
