Its only the middle of Feb but I thought I would see if I couldn't get some kind of head count for people that maybe interested in a spraing get together in Hickory NC. We had one this past fall and had at lesat 40-50 cars and close to 100 people out. It was a big success.
I am just wondering how many people would be interested and when they would like to meet up. I already have a resturant lined up that will let us eat and then stay around to BS. I was thinking of trying to plan it for around the 2nd Sat in march. Please let me know your imput means alot. Thanks and hopefully we can have a bigger turnout this spring than last fall.

 

I am out of town that weekend. Doing a Dyno Day! But if the date changes let me know I would like to come out. I do have a SLOW LS1, you bottle feed boys have the fast cars. Besides us girls can not drive! It sucks to have a slow car and not be able to drive, I know it is hard but I'll try to hold back the tears. LOL Besides didn't I tell you I have mine all torn down. It is awaiting flames and wheels. I am also detailing out the engine compartment so the drive train is out right now. The 91 Z28 is all together of course. If the weather is going to be nice I'll bring it. If that date changes we will come out even if I have to bring the truck!

 

Our club is putting on our spring show at City Chevrolet in Charlotte to benefit the Marrow Program on May 18th. We have a lot of really cool things going on including F-Body Motorsports will have their dyno, Lowes Motor Speedway is giving us race tickets to giveaway. We have tons of dinners to giveaway. City will be feeding everyone for free. F-body Motorsports is giving away a free dyno. Catawba Riverboat cruises is giving us lunch cruises to giveaway and the club that brings the most club participants gets a all you can eat Hooters Wing Party. There is more! But it really is gonna be fun. Oh...Free t-shirts to the 1st 100.

We will have well over 40 classes including a few F-body classes. We would love to break it down even more if we get enough! Right now it is broke up stock and modified and in groups of 1st and 2nd gens...then 3rd and 4th gens are together.

Stacey I'm still not quite sure on the date yet. Thats why I posted this up. I just wnat some feedback for now. Its either going to be Mrach 8th or 15th. I have got quite a few more responses over on Ls1.com but I am going to set the date to what the majority of the people want.

 

Come on don't more of you want to make it out for some spring fun? Right now it looks like the date is going ot be March 15th. But I will post all the final info sometime next week.

 

the z is back from body/motor shop..once i figure out this fuggin coolent problem i'll be able to make it out of lincolnton so tell me when and where and i'll try to make it

Yeah man its still on. I posted up a new thread i nthis section. There is gonna be a bunch of us that go to the dnyo and then head over to Hickory for the rest of the night. I think theres gonna be abou 10 people that are going to meet me at my work and then we're all gonna head over to the dyno and then Hickory. Let me know if you need directions are want to follow us over.

Thats the plan. We should be meeting at the mall in Gastonia around 3 that day. We will be parked on the on the back side whree sears and the food court is. Then u just have to look for my Black SS which usually sits in the back by itself.

 

Since its only a few days away I thought I would go on a put this up. It starts at 7 pm. Location is at Fuddruckers on Hwy 70. Please park in the Fuddruckers parking aarea so that we don't have any prolems from the police. But if your planning on showing please eat at the resturant they are being nice enough to let us stay and BS in their parking lot w/o any hassels. The weather is also supposed to be awesome. Partly Cloudy and 65 degrees. Can't ask for much better than that. I hope to see everyone there for a great night and lots of fun.
