ROCKINGHAM DRAGWAY: 2 EVENTS APRIL 10th

Event #1: GMMOC (GM Muscle Of the Carolina's; www.gmmoc.org ) is having a track day April 10th. All GM cars are welcome. Gates open at 10:00 am. Event ends ~4:00 pm. Don't have any info right now on what kind of classes they'll be running, but you can get more info at Rockingham's web site:
www.rockinghamdragway.com

Event #2: Rockingham Dragway has a bracket series race the evening of the same day, April 10th. Track owner Steve Earwood has 'reinstated' the 1/4 mile street class, which now pays $100 to the winner and $20 to the runner up! Registration starts at 4:00 pm (gates are already open ) Here's the flyer: http://www.rockinghamdragway.com/flyers/2004/brackets/

Come and race or come and watch, but come and help support GMMOC's bi-annual event. Make it an all day outing and attend both events! See y'all there!

Ya Chris I plan on doing the same thing, maybe I'll run trophy street that night so you'll at least have a chance of winning footbrake.

Which way do you head up there? Wondering if you want to meet somewhere along the way.

Hey Tim,
Well, unless you want to drive to Columbia it wouldn't work out for you. Would love to have you and you're more than welcome. But we head out of Cola. on I-20 East, get off at Camden, then up Hwy. #1. Looking at the map it looks like it would be about three times as far for you if you met up with us.

In that case, yes it would be very out of the way. Thanks though.

My car may be down for the count anyway. It's been at the dealer since Tuesday with an engine vibration and they can't find the problem.

Oh-oh, sorry to hear that. Hope it's nothing serious.
