Post Possibly moving to NC, questions about living there?

Hey guys I am going to be moving next year to go to law school and Duke in Durham N.C. is most likely where i will be heading. I am wondering if my camaro will live? I have lived in Orlando Florida my whole life and haven't even seen snow yet so I know I won't be ready for the winter but I was just wondering how bad it is especially what i will need for my car. I know that my heat isn't working, but i have never needed it here so i have yet to fix it. But anything else like tires, etc or should i buy a beater? Thanks for any help you can be.

Don't worry about the snow, man....around herre, when it snows, the cities shut down. It "dusted" Charlotte with snow last year, and you would have thought a freakin' hurricane was coming, the way people acted. Your Camaro will be fine here. The most beaustiful and varied countryside in the US, and the friendliest people. What more could you ask for? And, just so I can be the first to say it, "Welcome!!"

Sup man. Durham is a nice area. There are parts of it to stay very far away from. I live about 10 mins from Duke. The roads aren't that bad here. When it snows here the whole friggin place shuts down. Its quite funny. Not many people to hang out with round here. I usually go to Raleigh or Cary to hang with people. Welcome to the south bo.

Durham a nice place! is that an oxymoron or something. I've only been through parts of it, but i would never drive through that place at night!

Yo!

I'm a Dukie too. Undergrad here. There's a dude from TX with a crazy Vortech'd Z (not sure which year). Anyways, we should hang out or something, we don't have enough F-bodies on campus! Check out the NC F-body association, too they're really cool guys.
