Hey everyone, I finally got the hub off this morning so, I guess we are back on track. I sent my pcm off to ION this morning, and this weekend Erik and I will try to start putting it back together. Maybe if everything goes well it might be rolling again within a week or so.

Nope we are installing a hot cam on my 175k motor. Yeah we are still using the stock am bearings. I am expecting somthing better than a 13.5 which was the best I have ran so far. Anything better than that is good for me.

 

yep. i agree. I am hoping to break the 13 sec barrier, something like a 12.99 or better

 

the cam will really go well with all the other mods, especially the valve train mods, and the dual exh..

 

What valve train mods?

 

1.6 rrs, comp cams 987 valve springs, comp cams chromemoly 7.200 push rods and lifters.

 

just a bunch of new stronger higher revving parts

Why you guys keeping it a secret! Sheeesh I would have lended a hand if you wanted or needed it. I would love to see chance in the 12.xx range!! if we put him on slicks I am sure we will!!

 

there are no secrets. Were just beefing up the valve train. Just wanted it to sound a little misterious.... ha ha..... cool ur jets my buddy.. Just tryin to make chances motor a lil more reliable, and fun..
