Anyone know of a website that lets you see which vainity plates are availible and which aren't for North Carolina?

 

Thats a good question cause I am about to get one for the SS

 

There is a site that tells you about the process but I do not think that they will allow you to check yourself. You have to either download the application or simply go to your local DMV. The latter is much easier. I just went in and asked. She said that the plate was available and I paid the difference $20 or $25 or so.
