Any good sites I can go to and learn about Henderson, NC?

I found their site but it lacked much information about the city.

thats where i bought my z28 from!!! i been there a good many times, but when i was younger and not in the last couple of years. its a pretty depressing place to me, lots of ghetto. what ya wanna know?

Lots of things lol.

Jobs? Cost of living? Location in the state, income level of the area, what its like. I have not been able to find pictures either...is the city large?

 

Henderson is about 60 or so miles north of Raleigh, 20 or so miles south of the Virginia line. Small town (less than 40,000) Low income mostly, and mostly low cost of living. Not the premier place to stay in the state, but not the worst either.

 

i think the best thing about hendersen is the location close to Kerr lake, NC's largest artificially man made lake. we have some land up there and dock and the whole nine yards. its a HUGE lake thats alwasy cool to chill at. (not too many hot chicks tho)like i said before, low standard of living, low cost to live, smaller town than i am used to. i dont know about jobs tho. they used to have a killer 4th of july display over the lake tho, lol. kerr lake is a few miles north of hendersen, about 12 miles from the virginia line. sorry i couldnt help more, its been a while since i have been.
