I am new to NC, Haywood county to be exact, speaking to a few folks around here which have muscle type show cars they dont bother with the inspections due to being on the road so little and the few times when pulled over say they have stated this is a show car and taking it to a show, and get by with no issues. has anyone in the NC area seen or done this.

 

Thats usually what happens. You can get away with a warning if you show 'em the car. (Driving thru Fayetteville you see this alot, hotrods at the side of the road with cops looking under the hood)
