Good Track in Ga. or South Tenn.

As the title says, where is a good track in Ga. or around southern Tenn. ? I would pefer 1/4 mile but I will settle for 1/8 mile. How much does it cost and what days can you go on? I just gotta know what the bird does after the gears.

Hey there!

I read you are in Dalton? There is a 1/8 track just north of you outside Chattanooga (Brainerd optimist dragstrip i think?) As for 1/4 mile tracks I haven't seen one close, but was told I would have to go as far as Ft. Payne, AL to find one. I'll just stick to the 1/8....even though I haven't been there yet

Yeah I thought about Brainerd but really wanted to see what it had in the 1/4. But like I say......I will settle for 1/8 if I have to. Thanks for the reply.

Another vote for Commerce. They hold test n' tune on friday nights, and bracket racing on saturdays. Very busy place though, so you usually can't get too many runs in.
