10 QUARTS!!! HOLY COW!!! I was thinking of swapping out to some Royal Purple. Maybe even change the oil to some Royal Purple or Mobile One.
Yes and yes. It was black and he turned off onto hwy 9 after we coubled back. I was impressed, but he never really would "line up" I always had to come from behind and pass him. Of course that makes it even better when you win!!

It never hurts to have some extra. ur gonna need at least 2qts to put in the converter, and i think 5 or 6 to change in the tranny. If ur gonna do it right, if we are gonna bupass the radiator like mine , and make it an independant system, then start from scratch, and get a case of 15. I believe a dry system holds 12qts, i think. I cant rember for sureget a case of 15 though.. Best bet. That way we can top off as needed....

Yeah I want to bypass the radiator is we can. Should I go ahead abd buy some hose? Bad thing about doing this at night is that the parts house closes, and I need to make sure to have everything.

First see what ur cooler kit comes with. It should be a whole kit... Shoule be enough hose to do it. If it doesnt look like enough, buy 3 or 4 ft of 3/8 id hose...Thatll do it. I think R/P is about 6.99/Qt

Called SECO and its 8 something for a quart they dont sell cases, and have only 8 in stock. Asked Chuch if he runs it in his mustang he said "at that price hell no, but if he could afford it he would. Takes Atleast 12-14 quarts if its bone dry. $80 for 12 quarts of ATF?!? Hmmm maybe a change isnt on our agenda after all. How many quarts you think we will need for the Converter and cooler? 6-7? What kinda does the 4L60E take anyways?

Sight says its 245 millimeters which = 9.64566929 inches in American language. It is gonna be a 3000K I spoke to John this morning and he is gonna try and ship it today if not Monday so 5 day delivery puts it here on Feb 26-27th. Plenty of time to spare.
He really is a awesome guy. He is trying to run 9s and still runs the stock 10 bolt with some 3.73s and 9's in Utah aint easy! thats like 8s for us who are blessed to be southern.

I will bring it but I havent modded it any at all. But I figure that atleast I will look cute in it as you beat me.

Well today I changed all my brakes, rotors, wheel bearings, and seals, and installed my stud girdle. Everything but the stud girdle went well. I had a lot of trouble getting it in. The stock cover goes in and out with no issues, but apparently the girdles require you to remove the sway bar. It was late and I was tired so I banged it in. Went fine but it leaks. So I guess on the 3rd when its in the air and we have access to an impact wrench I'll pull that bar off, the cover off and try again. I used some weirdo gasket maker crap, rather then Silicone which I think was part of it. Live and learn I guess.
Erik I bought Bearing pullers today and you can have them, and a slide hammer if you dont already have one. I'll borrow the bearing pullers (4 in the set) when we do our gears, but you can have them if you want them. Im going to bed cause it took all day to do that crap, and I am tired!
