ZZ4 Centerforce clutch
ZZ4 Centerforce clutch
Hello! I am not new to this site I just forgot my other sign on so I made another account. But anyway, I have a 1969 Camaro with a ZZ4 350 in it attatched to an M20 4-speed. I want to upgrade the clutch to something that will handle the power alittle better. This post goes along the same lines and JonZ28SS a couple threads down, but our numbers are not the same. I am looking into buying the Centerforce II 11" clutch assembly. I have a couple questions. First, does anyone recommend this clutch or is it worth the money to move up to the dual friction. The car is a show car so it is mostly driven at street speeds with the exceptions of hauling *** down an onramp everynow and then. I have a GM 621 bellhousing. Is there a difference between big block Z-bars and small block Z-bars? What clutch fork would be a good one to use? I am also considering getting the flywheel designed for the ZZ4? Im curious as to why it is so expensive! Basically, the car has 1600 miles on it and I cheaped out and bought a store clutch instead of a good one and it came to bite me in the butt as I couldnt get my car in gear at a light so I had push it across the intersection. It was great! Any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks,
Adam

Re: ZZ4 Centerforce clutch
Not sure what your result will be, but after shopping around I went for the Centerforce dual friction which I found cheapest on www.carshopinc.com. It should be done sometime late next week if you want an honest opinion.
