AFAIK, there are two styles of rear ends:

- one which supports having ASR (traction control)
- one which doesn't support traction control

A diff without ASR has a speed sensor mounted on top of the gear pot that reads off a reluctor wheel (I think that's what they're called?? ) on the carrier inside.

A diff with ASR doesn't have that sensor on the gear pot, but instead has a sensor on the end of each axle tube, and each axle has a reluctor to tell the computer the car's speed.

When you order the rear end, I think you will just have to specify whether or not your car has traction control, so they will send the correct style for your car. Also, I think I heard there's a difference in the length of the axles from LT1's to LS1's, so make sure you specify the year as well.
