Yank ss3800 equivalent?

I just tried to order a Yank SS 3800 torque converter from Tbyrne but they said that Yank is moving so it'll be a week or so. I need the torque converter pretty soon since I want to install it before I move. Can anyone recommend an equivalent torque converter? I have a 2000 SS that currently has all the bolt ons. Eventually goign to run a fairly large head/cam combo. Car is a daily driver with occasional track use. I just need to know if there is something else as good as the Yank that I could order and have here sooner if need be. Thanks

What about Vig or TCI? I heard that the Yank was the firmest feeling one. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm ordering power package number "3" from TByrne this morning as soon as they open. It comes with a Vigi of your choice, trans go shift kit, B&M supercooler for 840.00.

Did you have any luck getting through to them? I left a message, and talked to one salesperson, then when they called me back I was asleep( I work midnights), and they left me a message saying they had a great package for my '99 silverado I guess I'll try again tomorrow.
