WS6 stores short shift stick vs Speed Inc's

Soo Long story short i ended up buying two Pro 5.0 shifters from two different stores. I ordered a shorter shift stick from both places and heres the difference.

The WS6 stick is on the left in the silver color and the Speed Inc. is on the right in the black. I like the WS6 stick better because it's shorter and lighter. Now i wonder if the stick will be too short for my stock boot becuase i got a hurst white **** too.

For some reason one short stick came with more washers then the other ?

I just need to install it and see how it looks and feels.

What's the comparison to the stick that came with the Pro 5.0?

I know I cut ~ 1" off the stick that came with my Pro 5.0, combined with a MBA billet **** and it's DAMN short; The bottom of the ball is just about level with the console.

My first short stick was from TNA Motorsports (eBay) and it was completely unusable. I ended up throwing it away and keeping the Pro 5.0 stick.

A few months later I sold the car for my '97 SS with factory hurst and a Lou's Short Stick. I love the LSS.

about an inch. I hope she fits alright. If not i'll just use the longer stick.

Does it make it harder to shift with it being that short ? I know that shorter = better shifting but i'm their is such thing as too short.

It increases the force it takes to shift, just because your lever arm (stick) is shorter. I didn't have any issues with hitting the console, the travel was short enough and the ball JUST high enough where I didn't have any issues.

I did bruise the palm of my hand from shifting though more than a few times, normally when ****ing around/racing due to the force I'd use from power shifting, and ZERO give in the shifter from the **** down (MBA Billet Aluminum ****, then the shifter which has no rubber in it).
