I have NO clue where to even look for this thing. Let alone replace it. Any one have any good writeup?

Thanks for the writeup. Do you think that this may be my problem with the converter not grabbing when it's cold? The car drives perfect when it's warmed up, but it has trouble moving cold.

I would tend to think it would be the other way around if it was a pump issue since the fluid would be thicker cold than hot

Yes I saw your post here and somewhere else and its and odd symptom . Perhaps you can explain more . Like does it change gears and how do the shifts feel when its like this?

It shifts intermittently. I was told that it was probably because the PCM wasn't tuned for a 3k stall yet. It feels like the tc doesn't have enough fluid in it. Is it possible that there are air bubbles in there!? I would assume that it would work itself out if that was even a possibility. On my way to work this morning I let the car idle for about 2 minutes before I left and it drove perfectly fine.

Another thing... It seems like it's normal (I don't get above 10-15mph and barely any throttle) until I pull out of my complex. Then it starts. And when I get a 1/3 mile down the road it's perfectly fine.
