Is this worth the money?

My 96 4L60E has 102k on the clock and it slips at WOT. Need to find a rebuilder around Houston and this is what I have seen so far.

4L60/5E Street & Strip Stage I Build-up

For vehicles from stock to 450 r.w. hp. Complete tranny rebuild inculding the following Stage I Upgrades:

*Transgo 4L60E-HD2 Shift Kit (including internal modifacations)
*HP 3rd clutch piston Return Spring Kit
*13 vane pump kit, clearanced to spec.
*Hardened Pump Support Rings
*HP Pump Slide Spring
*Alum. Accumulator Piston Kit (replaces plastic ones that tend to crack)
*Century HP Wide Band (3/8" wider than OEM w/Kevlar linning & reinforced strut ends)
*Billet Super 4th Servo (firmer 4th apply & longer band life)
*Century HP 3-4 Clutch Kit: Special Alto Red Eagle Racing frictions, Koleen steels, pressure plate & snap ring. Increases clutch count from factory weak 6 to awesome capacity holding 9! A must for any HD/Performance 4L60!
*Century HP Sun Shell Kit: Hardened steel sleeve is furnace brazed on to reinforce splined area of sunshell (another weak link). Includes modified sprag race & rollerized thrust bearing to replace cheesy plastic thrust washer. Over 300 sold w/no failures!
*New 29 Element H.D. Input Sprag
*5 Pinion Rear Planetary Gear (25% stronger than 4 pinion gear) This a NEW G.M. component which is more expensive than the inferior, unreliable foreign made units
*2-3 Check Valve Kit: improves timing between band servo release & 3rd gear apply
*Reverse Capsule Update: decreases bleed oriface size in piston for better reverse engagement
*All clearances & end-play set to our performance specs

All tranny builds also include all new gaskets, seals, rings, bushings, thrust washers, Borg&Warner low/rev sprag & Sealed Power filter. Borg&Warner HD frictions for reverse, over-run, forward clutch packs. All hard parts & electronic components are thoroughly cleaned & inspected. All units are meticulously checked during assembly. Turn-around time is 3-5 days after we receive your unit.

6 MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY!
COST:
$1985.00 All ex.'97up Corvette
$2049.00 '97up Corvette
---------------------------------------------
Hard parts & Electronics additional cost if any needed.
----------------------------------------------

*Corvette servo $29.95 if needed. Already comes OEM in Vettes (of course!) & in LT1/LS1 F-Body trannys.
*Delco internal Electronics Kit $269.95: includes all shift, pwm & EPC solonoids & pres. sensor manifold.
* Delco TCC solonoid & harness assembly:
93-95 (5 solonoid): $145.26
94-96 (6 solonoid): $144.96
96-02: $162.77
03-up: $
----------------------------------------------
Optional Upgrades:
*Aluminum Deep Pan & Filter Kit $179.95

The price seems a bit steep. My Z will probably never see 450 hp. What do you boys think.

I would love to use CPT but dropping and shipping my tranny is not feasible. Frank, do you do house calls?
