well my car was driving fine and shifting perfect till the other day, now all of a sudden it seems like the transmission wont catch 3rd gear , the fastest i can go is like 30 mph maybe not even that! after that my rpms will just go up and my car wont go any where! is it mechanical internal or something like a solenoid how can i tell?

Sorry but sounds like your 3-4 clutch has failed and it is a mechanical issue

 

my 700r4 just did same thing,it is third/forth clutch your tranny is junk dude

Put the shifter in 2nd when you're driving from now on, until you get it fixed . Work that LT1 a little harder!
