Won't go into 2nd 3rd or 5th when running

My car has been sitting all winter, I start it up occasionally just to let it run. And today I noticed that when the car is off I can go through all the gears perfectly but as soon as I start it up, it won't go into 2nd 3rd or 5th gear. It didn't do this before I put it up for winter.

If I put it into 2nd and then start it up it doesn't pop outa gear or anything but if i push the shifter up into neutral then go right back into 2nd it won't go in. It feels like the shift lever just rolls over into 4th. Someone help. I can't beleave things are getting screwed up while its in storage

Im not sure but it sounds CAGS related. Maybe something is wrong with the soleniod that it keeps engaging when you start the car. Im not sure though.

I kinda had the same problems but with all the gears. First it was really had to get into gear, then it wouldnt go into 1st or 2nd (you could shut it off, put it in gear, turn it on and it would be fine). Then it wouldnt engage in any gear and if you shut it off, put it in gear and then turned it on it would rattle and grind. Ended up being a broken spring retainer in the pressure plate. hope it helps.
