Will TH350 bellhousing bolt work with a 4L60E?

Can I use a TH350 bellhousing bolt on my 4L60E?

When I did the TC swap a few weeks ago, I found that someone had busted the top driver side bolt head off and left the stud in. I got it out after about an hour of messing with it (the double nut trick finally worked). It was crossthreaded unbelievably bad. Ate like three of the threads right off the bolt. Not even sure if I can get another bolt to screw in, but I want to at least give it a shot...

I'm fairly sure they are identical, and I have a friend who said he'd mail me a spare bolt he had from a TH350, but I wanted to make sure tht it will work before I have him send it? And if not, does anyone have a spare 4L60E bolt they could mail me? I'll pay the shipping, and maybe a couple bucks on top for the favor...

Thanks,
Garrett

The bolt specs are 3/8-16x1.38. Don't know how that compares to the TH350 bolt, but I bet it is close to the same. You might consider running a thread chaser in there before you put a bolt in.

thanks...

i'll prolly just have him send it anyways and see how it works...

i would run a chaser down through, sept i'm not sure i'll be able to reach one in there... The tranny is all bolted up, and the old Z don't like to let ya work behind the engine much...
