Will a700r out of a 89 2wd pick up fit in a 94 lt1 and what mods if any need to be dine to make the gages and it shift / operate properly

Physically, yes. It's the same dimensions as the 4L60E that's in a '94 Camaro. You would have to find a 1993 F-Body throttle valve cable for the 700, a throttle valve cable bracket for the intake manifold and a 1993 specific throttle body with the pivot provision for the throttle valve cable. You'll have to rewire the original 4L60Es harness to operate the lock up in the 700. You'll have to locate an F-Body governor for the 700 to get the shift points correct. You'll need to swap the tail housing on the truck trans to give your torque arm someplace to mount, and you'll have to swap all the electronic speedometer parts to the 700. Unless you can find a complete 1993 LT1 donor car for all the parts, it's cheaper to just have a 4L60E rebuilt for it. BTW, 1993 was the last year for the 4L60 (700R4) in the F-Bodies.

Thanks for the reply I have done some reading and figured it out last night it's just easier to get the 4l60e rebuilt or just buy another one
