Re: Will 97 pump fit into a 95 4l60e

it should as far as i know, i think i have a book in the shop for the 4L60E but i'm not at school right now. generally nothing really changed in them over the years, i know the 700R4 and the 4L60E are almost identical except the 700r4 uses throttle valve and cable and govenor valve and cable where your car has 2 shift solenoids, a TCC solenoid, and a PWM solenoid. too bad right now we're working on 4T60Es (yes crappy FWD transaxles) but next is the 4L so if you don't find out anytime soon i'll ask one of my instructors or look it up in our rebuild books for ya. but as far as i know there were not any major changes from 95-97 but don't take my word for it just yet.

From what I understand they are both PWM so they should work together.
