Thumbs up will a 4l60e work on a lt1?

will a 4l60e work on a lt1?its from a ls1 motor but i have an lt1.

if the input shafts run the same as the t56, then no. input shafts are a little longer on ls1

IIRC they do not match up. I'm pretty sure where they bolt up to the block is different.

The block is different, bolt pattern is different, input shaft length is different, PCM is different. The LS1 is a completely different animal to the LT1.

bell will bolt up , converter will not, Not a good swap idea overall , Though with the right converter and spacers it can be done but probably not worth the extra expense and effort it would involve. better to just get a trans that will fit your car properly
