Why does the T56 sound like it has loose marbles in it?
I disagree, I think it is all tranny.
Can different fluid help? Vipers use a fluid called syntorque. I think it reduces the gear rattle noise we are experiencing.
Oh, and I had mine rebuilt by Donato Engineering, John Donoto was on the trans team for the Viper when it was being developed (the T56) and he went through mine and add the steel fork and the Kevlar syncro material and some of the other goodies...but with my centerforce DF in neutral...I have the rattle

... LS1's don't have a clutch fork, but the tranny still makes noise. This leads me to believe it's NOT the T/O bearing?
(since they're different, LT1 vs. LS1)
