why a 700r4 conveter wont work with 4l60e

someoneplease remind me, its been a while since ive looked at converters. but i think there is something different with the splines is there not. ?? which tranny has what amount of splines ...please refresh my memory!

You can use a Late (30 spline) 700 converter in a 4L60E until 1998.
