Vigilante and Yank are very good converter manufacturers.
I run a Coan myself and am very happy with it.

I have heard many good things about Edge converters over on impalassforum.com. I would look into that as well. You can never go wrong with vigilante or yank but they're kinda pricey.

Re: who makes good stalls?

When I was still running an A4 I had an EDGE 3400 lock up converter. It was a very good converter, never an issue with it. They are priced well too, about $550 shipped to my door. They build each converter to your specs.
